The village is at the end of a quiet mountain road; no traffic but the local inhabitants. Ideal for the start of a walking holiday, ideal for children and for pets. It is surrounded by forests and mountain peaks, yet it is only 1,5 km away from the lively centre of La Bourboule, and 6 km from the ski resort of Le Mont Dore. Both towns offer a lot of things to see and do, many restaurants, cafés, shops, a few museums, and of course several Thermal Baths.

The holiday cottage is built of traditional volcanic stone, and has been completely renovated in 2006-2007. It offers comfortable room for up to 4 people. The alpine ski pistes of Le Mont Dore are only a short ride(10 minutes) away by car, or by rail and bus (from La Bourboule centre). The cross-country pistes of La Bourboule only 5 minutes (plus a cable-car ride). In the summer there are plenty of possibilites for mountain walking, climbing, swimming, horse riding, parapente etc. The rental period is from saturday 16.00 to next saturday 11:00 hrs. Renting only a midweek/weekend also possible.
